Midnight Sun
From late spring into summer, Svalbard enters a season when the sun stays above the horizon around the clock. The continuous light changes the rhythm of travel: evening hikes, boat journeys and quiet walks can unfold beneath a sky that never fully becomes night. It is one of the clearest ways to feel how far north the archipelago lies, with glaciers, mountains and fjords illuminated long after ordinary bedtime.
